Multiple reasons: Seek a local medical opinion. You list CT scan, surgical drainage and bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) in your clinical findings section. It is possible that your pain could be related. Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) has been reported to give muscle issues. Neuromuscular problems could also include rarer issues like MS or Myesthenia. Metabolic/ electrolyte issues also need to be ruled out with labs and exams. Further workup is needed.
