Brain MRI: Small amount of T2 hyperintensity in the right petrous apex. This keeps showing on MRI and they say it is an accidental finding. But I have severe headaches and pain and a warm sensation inside my head. is it really a normal finding?
ENT says petrous apicitis on CT and MRI may not be infection bc WBC is normal and no ptosis. Much pain/pressure and headaches. Could it be fungal?
CT Scan, MRI (extensive left mastoiditis) ears ok. Headache w/ darkness (corner of eyes). Bacterial infection in June. ENT on Fri. Allergy/recovery?
MRI: highly suspicion of petrus apicitis. Neuro now wants CT and THEN refer to ENT. Should antibiotics be given to prevent possible complication now?
