Unclear: As there is limited long term data in regards to use in pregnancy. Increased risk of spontaneous abortion may be increased. Seizures and withdrawal syndromes have also been reported in mothers who utilized venlafaxine during pregnancy. Presently it's unclear if venlafaxine causes increased abnormal development in the uterus.
