Multiple symptoms: Fibroids can present with heavy painful cycles, irregular period, presence of a mass, urinary frequency amongst others. Sometime fibroids can be asymptomatic and diagnosed only during an exam or ultrasound.

Bleeding and pain: Most fibroids that cause symptoms do so via abnormal bleeding patterns (heavy, irregular) or bulk pressure symptoms due to their shear size (i.e. Pressure on bladder or bowel).
