Most not all: Most patients with submucous fibroids have symptoms. A submucous fibrod not only causes pain and bleeding, it can also cause a woman to have difficulty getting pregnant. Submucous fibroids are located in the cavity of the uterus and can prevent pregnancy's just like a IUD does. Fortunatly, Submucous fibroids, are the easiest to remove, on an outpatient basis, with no scars or down time.
