Okay to nap: A heart rate of 47 is low but it could be normal if you are a well trained athlete. If you are not an athlete, your heart rate is low and you are tired then you need to see your doctor soon. Napping is not a problem however.

Low heart rate: Check your heart beat rate as well as your pulse rate. Check your carotid pulse rate, too. This pulse rate is very low and not typical. It is possible your heart rate is faster and your pulse beat is intermittent. Check to see if your heart rhythm is regular, also.
