Appt friday but i think i have a bv but im gettin std check to b safe, symptoms been for about 1 month.... is there a time frame that pid can occur ?

PID tricky: Pelvic inflammatory disease can be caused by a number of different infections, many of which are sexually transmitted. Depending on which infection, and the individual female body, PID can be asymptomatic (the woman does not know she has it) to life-threatening, and may become known hours to years after contracting the infection. I agree with getting an STD check and using condoms.
