Many causes possible: ButI always ask my patients in a psychiatric evaluation: were you ever a really good student in elementary school? If so, most like it is not ADHD. Why? because ADHD shows up early in life not later, say in middle school onwards. In fact, the American Academy of pediatrics has pushed detection to include preschoolers. If affecting daily life, see a doc to rule out any physical issues first.
