Road rash: It sounds as though she has an abrasion, which would be consistent with the type of injury she had. It is normal not to have scabbing this early on. As long as she has no signs of a wound infection, redness, swelling, or increased pain, she should be fine.

Probably: Unfortunately without seeing the wound and knowing the care she got and the care she if taking, it is impossible to accurately answer. It must have been substantial for her to have an antibiotic. The presence or absence of scab is not concerning, but increasing pain and/or redness would be reason for her to be seen by a doc
