Ginger or dramamine (dimenhydrinate): Ginger or ginger ale works well to cut down on motion sickness. Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) works well to combat motion sickness. You must start taking it the day before to be most effective. Try not to look at books, phones, or try to read in a bumpy car this will only make things worse.
