My 8yr old daughter gets a cold about once a month. is it normal to get sick that often at this age? she also gets carsick easily,even on short trips by car. she is pale and has dark circles under her eyes, but her dr thinks it's just her complexion?

Many children get frequent head colds until they develop immunity to many of the 100 types of viruses that cause them. Associating with other kids is a factor. I find that excessively dry environment increases susceptibility. I believe in giving Vit C supplements to aid resistance. I think her easy car sickness isn't related or pathological. Have her checkups & basic labs been OK?
