Can patrially raised third molars become infected? there is no pain on gum, yet the bone under hurts and tonsils inflamed. previous abscess..not now.

Pericoronitis: Inflammation and infection around the crown of an unerupted tooth is called pericoronitis. Hydrogen peroxide can sometimes alleviate discomfort and mechanically debride the area and kill some of the bacteria causing the discomfort. Salt water can also help with the irritation.
