Herpes: It sounds to me by your description that you may have herpes simplex virus. This starts as vesicles(small blisters) in clusters and they can be very painful. You can get treatment to speed up resolution of symptoms.

Go to your doctor: Without looking at the rash, I'd say that herpes is possible, but not the only thing you might have. It's best for you to go to your doctor, or health department, as soon as you can. If it is herpes, there are some medications that can help relieve your symptoms.
