No to supplements: Thalassemia is a group of blood disorders. Thalassemia major can lead to life threatening heart or liver problems and infections. It may sometimes lead to dangerously high iron level. Supplements, multivitamins, whey protein products contain a lot of substances that may not be listed as active ingredients, but may be harmful to someone like yourself. Go to the gym but keep away from supplements
