Jaw surgery- can you still get an infection even when the cuts are healed and close? im almost 1 month and had lowerjaw done im just worring

Healed incisions: If your wounds are completely healed the chances of getting an infection from the surgery that was a month ago or small. If you are having pain and swelling you should have the ares checked by your surgeon. Retained sutures can sometimes be a problem but not likely.

Probably not: Once incisions have healed chance of infection is remote. If concerned, talk to your Surgeon.
