As long as one refrains from oral sex for perhaps the first several days, the risks of bleeding or infection is minimal.

Any surgery that has an open wound is subject to an infection if not properly cared for and allowed to heal. The mouth contains large amounts of bacteria that can cause an infection so if you are going to have sex don't use your mouth until the area heals.
