Exercise, sleep: Make sure you get 7-8 hours sleep at night, if possible. Exercise on a regular basis, even if it is only walking during lunch break or in the parking lot of the grocery store. Exercise is a great stress buster. Realize you are not perfect and allow for that in yourself and other people working with you. Spend time relaxing before sleep. Avoid important decisions if they can be put off. Checklists.

Stress: Minimize caffeine. Take breaks. Walk during breaks. Deep breathe frequently. Pause before talking. Find some favorite reassuring quotes - from poems or scripture or songs - and write them down to read during stressful times. Develop a way to focus your thoughts on positive things, like a picture or a song that is gentle and meaningful to you. Be gracious and gentle and kind at work.

Exercise: Get good rest, at least 6 hrs of sleep and eat nutritious regular meals, exercise regulary and take at least a little "you" time. It is amazing how well that combination can combat stress.

At least try to get: some control over the features of the work that you can. Pacing/ lunch time/ which part you do when. Work in breaks and exercise. Identify the features that are the worst and try to modify those (people screaming obscenities at me was the worst for me... I have the front desk do more screening, have them come back another day for psychiatric evaluation, involve the police if it is really bad)

Stress: Hi, doing a little bit of deep breathing goes a long way at your desk twice a day, try to focus on your breathing to increase your temperature. Also yoga, meditation and exercise after work are very helpful. Also creating a support system at work to motivate one another and having lunch with colleagues are a very good coping mechanism. Good luck.

Find sources: Look carefully at your day. What are your greatest sources of stress? How can you minimize them? If you can't control your situation, you can control your life. Meditation, seeing a psychologist or life coach, taking a time management course, learning to deal with difficult people, yoga, and regular exercise can all help. Most important is sorting out your priorities, so life doesn't pass by.
