A member asked:

Hi there, i would just like to find out if a person is suffering from post streptococcal glomerulonephritis, what are their diet like?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Glomerulonephritis: Post Strep Glomerulonephritis is typically a resolving inflammation of the kidneys. However, it may not completely resolve. Diet is very important: maintain low salt intake, low phosphorus intake (dairy and meats), low potassium intake (fruit and potato), and low saturated fat intake. Maintain high fluid intake to match urine flow. Keep in touch with your doctor.
