I'm 6'8" , could this be why i can't bend my knee for long without uncomfortable pain or would it be trauma caused ? i don't have any visible trauma.

Yes: Muscle balance (those that are active vs. inhibited) is important for all of us to prevent injury. Your hamstrings require adequate stretch given your height. When you are flexed they get tight or cause pain due to spasm. Walking, swimming, ellipticals and even strengthening of the hamstrings, quads and core muscles are key to maintaining muscle balance for you. Gravity is constantly pulling on us

Pain is never normal: Pain is our bodies way of telling us something is wrong. Just because you are tall doesn't mean you should have pain. If this is a concern for you, an evaluation would be helpful.
