Pain: very unusual to have an unstable SI joint unless you have had a big trauma or inflamatory disease to destabilize the joint.The ligaments that hold the SI together are one of the most strongest of the body.Symptoms would be pain and sensation of shifting of the pelvis when you walk.There are many other causes that should be explored first rather than SI joint being unstable
