No, except indirect: Although it seems hard to believe, there is a relatively large distance between the teeth in the upper jaw and the brain. Thus, any infection in the upper jaw has to travel to reach the brain and you would have other symptoms as it was spreading. Muscle tension from jaw soreness/pain can cause tension headaches, however, and TMJ can act up. Ask your Dentist or Doctor if questions remain.

Any problems yet?: Don't expect brain damage from tooth extractions. Keep your mouth clean and healthy and you have nothing to worry about. You said your Orthodontist extracted your teeth. Orthodontists only do Orthodontics. General Dentists and Oral Surgeons do extractions. Some Generalists do Orthodontics, but they are not trained Orthodontic Specialists.
