Never: The average age in my medical school class for those starting was 28 years old. We had many in their 30s. Even one that was in his mid-50s who had been a farmer and wanted to be a doctor. If properly motivated and if it's something that you want, it's never too late

Med school: No. Many medical students are older these days.

Not too late at all.: Depending on what discipline you wish to follow, figure four years of medical school and anywhere from three to eight years of residency afterwards. So at the oldest you'd be 44 years old when you're all done, perhaps as young as 39. Not a bad age to start your life's dream, if medicine is it.
