Immunologist: sed rate is high, Total Ch50 is normal, but serum IgM is low. A IgM deficiency is rare with only 0.01% in the general population and 1% of all hospitalized patients. It would be a good idea to recheck the IgM and specific function of the immune system against antigens which is done by immunologist. Sed rate elevation can mean many inflammatory states including infections.
