Not really: If all other tests are negative and there is no evidence of autoimmune antibodies, one number does not carry enough meaning to be worrisome.

Probably nothing: Decreased complement levels are seen in patients with active lupus. However, very minor abnormalities occur frequently, even in perfectly healthy individuals. These lab values must be viewed in the context of other lab studies and the clinical picture. Ask the physician who ordered the complement studies for his/her opinion as to the clinical relevance of this isolated lab abnormality.
