Probably not: But no use taking a medication you don't need. Sometimes antibiotics must be taken for extended periods for prostate infections, even if you currently don't have any symptoms. Discuss this with the doctor that prescribed them.

No real harm: but, in general, we try not to use antibiotics unless there is a bacterial infection. Antibiotics alter you native intestinal flora for months.
