Cervicogenic: Cervicogenic means coming from the neck. Sometimes with neck injuries there is a disruption of the normal nerve signals that control the muscles of the neck that can cause abnormal signals to be sent to the muscles that in turn control neck posture. Other causes of dizziness need to be rules out first before this diagnosis is made.

Good question: There are direct connections between the vestibular/cochlear nerve and the nerves going to the paracervical muscles, chiropractors and Osteopaths call this a somatovisceral connection. Stimulation of spastic muscles in neck would produce vertigo or even ringing in ears. I like treating this with botox.

Neck: Great question. Its neck muscle or spine related. Maybe muscle spasm, arthritis, pinched nerve or blood flow related
