Mono: Clinical trials have shown that silymarin (a Flavonoid) exerts hepatoprotective effects in acute viral hepatitis, poisoning by A phalloides, toxic hepatitis produced by psychotropic agents and alcohol-related liver disease by acting as a free radical scavenger. Has not been studies in Mono. Both work well together to protect the liver and can are being made in a combination product.
