Yes it can: dont worry--have it looked at by your dr.may also be muscular.should not interfere with rehab but see a dr.

Slip & Fall: Clearly any trauma to the back can aggregate your condition. You should be seen by an occupational medicine specialist. Herniation of a lumbar disc with nerve impingement requires an MRI for definitive diagnosis.
