Yes but take care...: Water contaminated by amoebas like Balamuthia or Nagleria, can occur directly from the tap, contaminated either from the source plant or along household plumbing. Though it is safe to use water after boiling it, the problem is keeping it uncontaminated during the twelve hours since amoebic cysts can travel in dust. Keep the boiled water protected until the time of use, and it should be fine.
