Fighting infection: Green sputum means that your body is fighting the injection. It could be a viral or bacterial infection. Antibiotics work only on bacterial infection. If you take antibiotics while you are having a viral infection it will cause more harm than good. If you start having fever, facial pain, shortness of breath, blood in the sputum than you will need further evaluation and possibly antibiotics

Green sputum: You are still having cough that is productive of green sputum, suggesting persistent infection (bronchitis, pneumonia). Keep warn and well hydrated, avoid smoking or alcohol. You may need to get on an abx with broader spectrum than Zithromax. Avoid cough suppressant. Recommend expectorant like guaifenesin for more effective pulmonary toilet.
