HIV: There can be marked variations in the WBC differential without an obvious cause. You do not say what HIV test you were given and the time period after exposure that the testing was done. You should receive repetitive tests up to three months after exposure at least. Acute HIV infection may be completely asymptomatic.

Normal: 54% lymphocytes are Ok. There may be little variation than the normal quoted by the laboratory. The 54 % lymphocytes no problem
