Cough, sarcoidosis: If you have a temperature >=101.5, a doctor needs to check this today. If no fever, tomorrow is okay. The effects of sarcoidosis on lung tissue can make people more prone to infection. Although yellow mucus can occur with a vial infection, you should not be having sharp pains. Depending on your lung examination (vital signs, breathing sounds), you might need an x-ray to rule out pneumonia.
