Set up plan: Usually it is more effective to talk with your provider and set up a schedule to taper and get off pills because you have someone's support and the accountability. The provider can help you set up a written schedule on how to taper which you keep track of daily. Some people can do a rapid taper and others slower but check with provider for guidance and help

Why: Just stop and use as needed. Short term use and intermittent use usually does not require a "plan" unless there are more issues.
