Preference?: This could be broken into 3 choices (or more) depending on your preference: 1) Stop Bupe now and wrestle through about 7-10 days withdrawal which will get easier over time, 2) keep taking 0.25mg/day Bupe for 3-6-9-12 months or years and it may take 2+ months to get through withdrawals, 3) taper off and request injectable Naltrexone, an opioid blocker, that will last up to 30 days.
