Nutrientdiet&fitness: Difficult question as we do not as yet have a proven cure for LV diastolic dysfunction. If cause known such as hypertension, valvular disease, diabetes, etc., this should be treated. In addition, moderate exercise and diet, particularly addressing the nutritional gaps (mineral, vitamin) and reduction of fat and cholesterol (directly associated with DD) may have a role in the long-term treatment.

HTN: Grade 1 Diastolic Dysfunction is a failure of relaxation of left ventricle Usually seen in hypertension (elevated blood pressure). The best treatment is making sure that blood pressure is in a normal range, ideally less than 120/80. A low salt diet is appropriate. As far a home remedy - nothing specific - sensible diet and exercise and weight loss would be recommended.
