Dehydration: In a round about way yes- Amoxicillin can make you have nausea, vomiting and diarrhea which makes you dehydrated. Dehydration can cause dizziness and weakness. Try to hydrate very VERY well while you are on your antibiotic course. Make sure you complete the course as prescribed, if you chose to stop- contact your doctor. Good luck :)

Well..: Dehydration and infection can make you dizzy or lightheaded and weak. Unlike vertigo which is a sense of spinning. Drink lots of fluids and get rest. If you are not having nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, it doesn't sound like it's the medication making you dizzy. Keep taking the prescription as directed. Call your doctor Monday with update. Go to ER or Urgent Care if symptoms worsening.
