Treat the symptoms: Osteoarthritis is a progressive disease, and there is no cure to permanently eliminate it. That being said, it is very treatable. Icing the joints in question, and using antiinflammatories can help greatly. If OTC meds aren't helping, see your doctor. I see you are on Mobic, (meloxicam) but there are other choices they may prescribe. Hope this helps!

Topical anti-inflam: There are topical anti-inflammatory agents such as Voltaren gel that can help if a medication like Tylenol (acetaminophen) arthritis does not work. In addition, Occupational therapy with various modalities such as paraffin wax can be very helpful in addition to teaching stretching exercises. Finally it's appropriate to also consider seeing a Rheumatologist to confirm the cause of your arthritis at your young age
