Also: I would also begin an anti-histamine such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Claritin as it might decrease the swelling and reaction if it is an allergic response. Also Hydrocortisone Cream 1 % 2-3x/d can help the swelling. But the infections does need to be ruled out as they can spread fast in the face and neck.
