Pill absorption: Pills do not dissolve readily, so their contents do not get absorbed or reach the tissues as well. This causes some of the excretion in the urine (a waste). With gastric bypass this problem can be even more important. Seek all supplements and medications you require in capsule or liquid form. This is especially important for the common deficiencies of Vitamin D and B12 in gastric bypass.

A couple things: Do they have the same mix of vitamins and amounts? Also they might use some type of yellow dye in creating the tablets.
