A member asked:

My urine is bright yellow but i don't take vitamins, cause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal variation: The color of one's urine is a reflection of one's state of hydration and how one's body uses water. The more hydrated one is, the clearer the color and the greater the urinary frequency. On the other hand, darker yellow urine is associated with dehydration and less urinary frequency. Vitamin b2 (riboflavin), present in most multivitamins, is what imparts a more colorful yellow/orange urine.
