Partial seizure: Positive somatosensory symptoms (parasthesias) migrating across dermatomes. The differential diagnosis includes acephalgic migraine and TIA (less likely) Use of a short acting benzodiazepine (Xanax) increases the risk of focal seizure as the medication is wearing off. There is an increase of seizure activity in some stages of sleep. Work up should include EEG and MRI (right parietal / temporal)

Anxiety Attack: When you are anxious you can hyperventilate -- fast breathing -- leading to changes in the ionic or the active calcium level in the blood. This can lead to vague tingling sensation in the finger tips, around the lips etc. Calm yourself and do some paper bag rebreathing . You should be fine /
