Physical therapy now: While a short course of rest after any surgery can be helpful, in orthopedics typically physical therapy is appropriate when there hash't been a significant fracture. Therefore even though it's nine weeks postop,a course of PT with strengthening of the quads, stretching of hamstrings and a focus on core muscle conditioning is appropriate. See your surgeon to discuss this and other options.
