Could be related: Deviated septum can block your nasal passages, causing sleep disordered breathing. Often it is not the only cause of airway obstruction. But I have had plenty of patients whose sleep as improved after fixing there septum

Septoplasty: Septoplasty can improve snoring if a deviated septum is the root cause. There are other anatomical issues that can contribute to snoring and sleep disturbance. Seek an evaluation by a board certified otolaryngologist.

Possibly related: a deviated septum can instruct the airways and affect your sleeping pattern. Surgery may therefore relieve the obstruction and lead to improved sleeping. However sleep apnea is more commonly associated with other causes that may be central or related to the oropharynx (throat)
