Surgery @ some point: The syrinx may not be very symptomatic now but this with the narrowing of the bony entrance to the spinal cord will likely cause chronic headaches and other symptoms by the teen years. At some point they will want to go in and remove the bag like syrinx and create more room in the bony entrance to the cord. It is a major surgery but in gifted hands can solve the problem.
