It may be: results depend upon which method was used for the ablation, but an episode of bleeding can result if a small area of the inside of the uterus was not deactivated by the ablation the ablation narrows the canal and so the blood struggles a bit to get out and this can cause cramping. i usually ask the patient to come in for an ultrasound to make sure everything looks ok

Possibly: Some periodic light vaginal bleeding and cramping may be normal after an endometrial ablation. You may want to track the timing: it may happen on a periodic basis about every month when your period would be expected.

It can be: Depending on how your ablation was done, you can have even cycles of bleeding and cramping. Returning to your GYN for a check up is strongly recommended. If your bleeding is substantially better than prior, then this is still considered a success. If you are aiming for no bleeding at all, then you may need additional surgery. This all depends on your circumstances and goals.
