Hydrocephalus: Neurosurgeons begin by taking a careful history and physical examination. Specifically, are the headaches are related to the shunt or some other cause? Also, vibration is not typical of hydrocephalus so further questions and an examination are required to understand this problem. Imaging studies such as MRI, CT and a radionucleotide shunt study may provide more answers.
