Worrisome signs: Following acute head trauma worrisome signs are increased sleepiness or confusion (cannot be fully aroused from sleep), worsening headache, vomiting more than 3 times, stumbling and incoordination, weakness in the arms or legs.Dramatic personality change and seizures.If these symptoms develop should immediately see physician.

Mom is right: For people who hit there head and do not lose consciousness or have fracture the risk of internal damage is very low unless you have bleeding disorder or on blood thinners. Older people are at risk too because their brains shrink and are at greater risk of tearing a vein on the inside.
