My ldl is very high 225mg/dl. do i already have coronary heart disease?not a smoker, no dm. i also lowered it down to 105mg/dl.

Probably not: There is no way of knowing whether you do or not without further testing. At this point there is no need for testing if you are not having chest pain or shortness of breath. Coronary disease is something that develops over decades and you are still young. Good for you on lowering your LDL.

You should also know that lowering cholesterol via statin in individuals without coronary disease or major risk factors is very unlikely to be beneficial. It is certainly no substitute for staying trim, and eating heart healthy diet, such as the Mediterranean diet.

Unlikely.: At your age, despite the high cholesterol, you are quite unlikely to have coronary artery disease. Good thing is that you have it controlled now. Continue to do so to prevent heart disease.
