Likely a cold virus: You likely have a cold. As long as you can take ibuprofen, take 2 tabs every 6 hours as needed for the discomfort in the throat. Add chloraseptic spray, throat lozenges, especially those that have added zinc and vitamin C as directed. Use decongestants if you can take them for the ears, nose. See your doctor if you worsen or if no improvement by day 7 of illness.
