Hiccups: Medications used for hiccups include Thorazine, Reglan (metoclopramide) or sedatives. This is used for treatment of intractable hiccups. Depending on how frequent your bouts of hiccups occur, it may be necessary to try several different medications acknowledging that the side effect profiles of these medications may be more problematic than the original problem.
